General Rules
- We are now allowing LiPo cells. Please use a proper LiPo charger and charge the cells in a LiPo sack, at no more than 1C.
- Cars must be complete (for example wheels missing, damaged body or shells) this is to stop people and the clubs kit from being damaged.
- Cars which are are dragging on the carpet must be pulled off the track as soon as possible
- Drivers must go straight out to marshal after they have finished their race.
- Anyone not using a 2.4GHz radio system must have three different crystal sets.
- Any children (under 16s) must be supervised by a parent or guardian
AT ALL TIMES
- Rules are based on the BRCA rules, except where the following club rules apply.
- Heats will be of 5 minute duration, finals will be 6 minutes.
Touring Cars
- Any slick rubber tyre or Carpet Dragons. No foam tyres, mini-spikes
or tyres with block tread.
- Tyre additive is allowed as long as the tyre is dry and doesn't leave
marks on the track
- All Touring Cars are welcome to race regardless
of motor and esc
- For the club championship motors are 13.5 or
17.5 with a Blinky esc
- Minimum 5mm ground clearance.
- Any Touring bodyshell is allowed as long as it is cut along the manufacturers
lines and does not have extra cooling holes.
- 1350g weight limit.
Championsip Touring Class
The 'Blinky' class is for ESCs that have a 0 timing advance at all RPM,
driving 13.5T or 17.5T motors. The speedos
have a blinking light when switched on and in the neutral position.
The class is designed to provide close racing because
all cars should have broadly similar straightline speeds, and speeds that
an average 'club' racer can cope with.

these speed controllers have been tested to meet this
specification.
- 27T brushed motors may be used in this class.
GT12 Class
This class is for 1/12th scale GT cars to provide fair and low cost racing.

- 3.7v LiPo
- Blinky speed controller,
- 13.5T brushless motor. The motor
must be on the BRCA list
- Cars may not weigh less than 950 grams.
- Brushless speed controllers must be on the BRCA's list of blinky speed
controllers and set up as specified click

LMP12 Class
This class is for 1/12th scale LMP cars to provide very fast racing.

Club Rules
- No setting up of pit tables until the track has been built.
- Booking in is via the Forum
or on the night. Please book in on the forum if possible.
- A class must get a minimum of 5 drivers. If
there are less than 5 drivers entered on the forum by midnight on Thursday
then the class will not run.
- The venue will open at 5:00pm, please arrive promptly to help set
up.
- Racing starts at 7:30pm. If the track is built earlier then there
will be free practice.
Winter Championship 2015/6
The on-road winter championship will consist of
22 rounds .Each driver's best 12 scores will count towards their championship
scores.
There will be 3 rounds of qualifying, single fastest
race (FTD) to determine qualifying order..
Top qualifier will score 50pts, second will score
48, third 47, fourth 46 and so on. The A final winner will score 200,
second 197, third 195, fourth 193 and so on down.
The grid for the finals will be set by qualifying
order.
Non-members will not score points, and will not
take points away from members.
